Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by Travelers

1.1. Travelers booking tours through ContactYourGuide may cancel their tour reservations, subject to the following conditions:

i. Cancellation 15 Days or More Before the Tour

Travelers may receive a full refund of their booking fee if they cancel their tour reservation 15 days or more before the scheduled tour date.

ii. Cancellation Within 15 Days of the Tour

Travelers are not eligible for a refund if they cancel their tour reservation within 15 days of the scheduled tour date.

iii. Exceptions for Government Limitations, War, Unforeseeable Reasons

Travelers may be eligible for a credit coupon to be used for future bookings on ContactYourGuide in the following exceptional cases:

Government Limitations: If the cancellation is due to government-imposed travel restrictions, lockdowns, or other limitations that prevent the traveler from participating in the tour, a credit coupon will be issued.
War and Unforeseeable Reasons: In the event of war, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable reasons beyond the traveler's control, a credit coupon will be issued for future use.

2. Requesting Cancellation and Coupon

2.1. To request a cancellation and, if applicable, a credit coupon, travelers must contact ContactYourGuide's customer support at support@contactyourguide.com, providing the necessary details and documentation to support the cancellation reason.

3. Use of Credit Coupon

3.1. Credit coupons issued as a result of a valid cancellation can be used for future tour bookings on ContactYourGuide. The coupon is non-transferable and may have an expiration date. Specific terms and conditions of the credit coupon will be provided at the time of issuance.

Amendments

ContactYourGuide reserves the right to unilaterally modify or make changes to this cancellation policy at its sole discretion. Any adjustments to our cancellation policy will be communicated to you through updates made to the policy.
