We’ve established our company in Cappadocia, Turkey (Central Turkey) and branch office is in Delaware, soon we will have more branch offices as we expand our destinations and guides lists

There is no obligation to provide a tip to your guide; the guide independently establishes the tour and guiding fees to reflect the value of their services. However, our guides are open to receiving tips should you choose to offer them.

Our guides typically aim to respond to your inquiries within a timeframe of 24 to 48 hours, taking into account variables such as the high season and their tour schedules. Rest assured, they are committed to addressing your queries within this period.

For specific questions related to your tours, your designated guide will be your point of contact, ensuring that you receive tailored and expert assistance. However, if you have more general inquiries, wish to discuss billing matters, report an incident, or share a compliment, our dedicated customer support team is at your service.

In the event that your guide has not responded to your message after 48 hours, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll promptly endeavor to match you with another guide who aligns with your interests, ensuring your experience continues smoothly and to your satisfaction.

BOOKING TOURS

ContactYourGuide never sets any price, all prices of all tours are priced by the guides

To explore the options available for your destination, please visit our homepage and utilize the 'Where are you going?' search bar. Once you've entered your destination, you'll find a list of tours to choose from. Simply click on a tour that piques your interest to view the details. If you find a tour that aligns with your preferences, don't hesitate to contact your guide right away. Check their availability and proceed to the 'Book' section to secure your tour. Now, all that's left for you to do is relish your tour to the fullest.

Yes, you can add any tour or guide to your favorite list and come back anytime and book your tour. You are always welcomed by our guides.

Your tour is booked but not confirmed yet!
After you've made your tour booking, our system will automatically notify the guide for confirmation. Please keep in mind that your booking is considered confirmed only when the guide acknowledges it. You can expect to receive a confirmation email within 24 hours after the guide has confirmed your booking.
If, for any reason, you do not receive a confirmation email within this timeframe, kindly reach out to us at support@contactyourguide.com for further assistance.

Should such a rare situation arise, you will receive an immediate notification via email from us. We will then inquire about your preferred course of action, aiming to accommodate your needs. In this uncommon scenario, we will offer several solutions and suggestions, including:

  • Recommending another exceptional tour guide who is available.
  • Exploring the possibility of rescheduling the same tour with the same guide for different dates.
  • Assisting you in canceling your tour booking request, ensuring that your credit card is not charged.

Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to assist you in the best way possible.

To ensure the best possible tour, kindly provide our guides with detailed information about your interests, and they will craft a truly exceptional and tailored experience.

We will send you an email containing the guide's contact information, including their phone number, WhatsApp number, and personal email.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

You can pay with your credit card. We accept the following cards: VISA-MasterCard-American Express-Discover Card

Yes, you have the option to make a cash payment to the guide at the start of the tour. However, to secure your booking, an initial payment of 20% of the agreed tour amount is required.

Absolutely, you have the option to pay the entire amount using your credit card. We will securely hold the funds in trust until your guide successfully completes the tour, at which point we will promptly release the payment to the guide.

All cancellation requests must be initiated by contacting ContactYourGuide customer support and you can check our cancellation policy here

Our tour connection specialist will promptly receive and process your cancellation request. Your refund will be issued to the original payment method used for booking the tour, and the transaction will be completed within the next 10 to 15 business days.

TOUR GUIDES

At ContactYourGuide, we initially began by collaborating with guides we know personally. Currently, our dedicated team is diligently exploring opportunities worldwide to expand our services by partnering with exceptional guides. When we identify top-tier guides, we actively encourage them to apply and create an account within our system. Upon receiving their application, our rigorous selection process includes interviews to assess their language proficiency and suitability. We also conduct routine screening checks to maintain the highest standards of service quality.

We conduct the following before we confirm the guide’s listing in our system:

  • In-depth interviews, which may be conducted in person, via phone calls, and/or video calls.
  • License verification (If local authorities mandate that guides must possess a license for conducting tours in their respective locations...)
  • Background and review checks, if applicable and available.
  • Crucially, we place significant importance on routine screening, with a strong emphasis on traveler reviews. We highly encourage and kindly request our travelers to share their feedback and experiences with our guides. This valuable input helps us expand our community of guides and benefit other travelers.

For instance, if you have three different destinations in the same country and wish to hire the same guide for all of them, the answer is yes, you can! This is possible as long as both the guide and the travelers mutually agree on their plans and terms.

In such a scenario, we will request you to make the full payment for the entire tour upfront, and we will securely hold these funds in trust until the guide successfully completes each tour. After the tours have been successfully conducted, we will then proceed with the payment to the guide.
