In such cases, please contact us, and we will assist in arranging a suitable replacement from our platform's pool of excellent tour guides.
No! you are not allowed to promote your company and to post any link, contact information, logo, or any brand name in your profile.
No! Under no circumstances does ContactYourGuide dictate or control your pricing or fees. You have the autonomy to determine the prices for your tours and services as you see fit. However, ContactYourGuide may offer suggestions for a minimum fee based on our research and market expertise.
No, ContactYourGuide's role primarily involves assessing the guides' qualifications, such as language proficiency, communication skills, and expertise level. The responsibility for self-promotion lies with the guides, allowing them the flexibility to present themselves in a manner that aligns with their preferences. Nevertheless, ContactYourGuide can offer marketing suggestions for promotional purposes.
The application process and membership with ContactYourGuide are entirely free, and this will always be the case. There are no ongoing costs or concealed fees. Your sole responsibility is to enjoy our services and deliver exceptional, carefully crafted tours for our valued travelers.
We provide our travelers with two payment options. They can either pay the full amount of the tour or your guiding service based on your pricing, and we will process the payment immediately after the tour, on a weekly basis. Alternatively, our travelers can choose to pay 20% of the tour's price, as determined by you, and settle the remaining amount in cash at the beginning of the tour. The choice is entirely up to our travelers to make.
You are permitted to use your own vehicle for tour delivery, provided that you explicitly disclose this information in both your tour profile and personal profile. Alternatively, you have the option to hire a driver or collaborate with a transportation company as necessary. Your approach may also be influenced by traveler requests for customization. You must ensure your tour deliveries are conducted in compliance with the legal requirements and regulations of your country of residence
